our PRACTICES

SOIL HEALTH first

Healthy soil holds water, supports biodiversity, and produces nutrient-dense food. As a no-till farm, we care for our fields with soil health at the center of every decision. By minimizing disturbance, armoring the soil, planting diversity and more, we build resilient soil that feeds healthy plants and supports the soil food web. When the soil thrives, everything else follows. Read more about how we put the Five Principles of Healthy Soil into practice.

Being certified organic means our growing practices meet a defined set of standards - no synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers, no GMOs, and a focus on building soil health and ecological balance. It’s a regulated system designed to create accountability, transparency and traceability in how food is grown and land is cared for in our global food system. We are certified so that our customers have peace of mind knowing exactly how their food is grown. Learn more here!

transparency THROUGH CERTIFICATION

We’re building a farm system where resources are reused rather than wasted or exported. Nutrients, water, and materials are cycled back into the land whenever possible. One example: we compost food scraps from local restaurants and grocery stores so that waste returns to the soil and back into food.

closing the LOOP

Not everyone needs to farm, but everyone should know their farmer. We believe food is better when you know who grows it and where it comes from. Regenerative farming isn’t just how we steward the land - it’s how we show up for our community. Stay in loop on where to find out produce here.

Feeding the Community

ECOLOGICAL STEWARDSHIP

Everyday we are reminded that our farm is a part of a large ecosystem. Pollinators, birds, animals, wind, nutrients, water and people enter and leave our space all the time. It is in our best interest to steward these resources to the best of our ability, not just minimizing damage, but benefitting our local environment.
