YOU’RE INVITED TO OUR FIRST FARMSTAND!

We’re so excited to share that our first farmstand is happening:

Sunday, April 12
11 am – 2 pm

We’ve invited some good friends, @thirdspacebagels to join us for the day - come by for homemade bagels, our first round of produce, and a matcha or cold brew.

We’ll also be hosting a farm tour around 2 pm if you want to stick around and see the magic up close.

And if you bike to the farmstand, we’d love to give you 10% off your produce!

BUILDING A WASH AND PACK SHED

“Shed” might be a generous word for it… but it’s working.

Every farm needs a system for handling produce well — not just growing it, but washing, drying, and storing it in a way that keeps it fresh and enjoyable to eat.

Jake built a simple shade structure to get us started, and we’ve been piecing things together from there, tracking down stainless steel sinks (one for dunking produce, one for sanitizing bins), setting up drying space, and even converting a washing machine to spin salad greens (a classic farm hack) so they last longer. A root washing table is next.

It’s this kind of infrastructure that really supports a well functioning farm. We’re dialing it in piece by piece as we get ready for our first harvest!
